Below are some of the many reasons why engineering professionals should consider a challenging and rewarding career at HydroScience.
Collaborative Work Environment
Collaboration across offices and disciplines is central to our work culture. There are no barriers to getting support from anyone in the company, regardless of which office they work in. We function as one team, all working towards the common goals of doing great work, building strong relationships with our clients, and making a difference. HydroScience also has an in-house electrical, instrumentation, and controls team who works as a cohesive part of our design teams to produce highly coordinated designs.
All of our engineers and managers maintain an open-door policy and have a strong desire to grow younger staff into capable project managers and technical leaders, and to help more experienced staff broaden their capabilities.
Clients and Projects
HydroScience staff enjoy the opportunity to work on a wide range of project types within the water engineering field, including studies, permitting, modeling, planning, detailed design, and construction support for both public and private clients. Facility types include lift and pump stations, pressure and gravity pipelines, and treatment facilities for water, wastewater, and recycled water. We design both all-new facilities and complex retrofits of existing operating facilities. We work closely with client management, engineering, operations and maintenance staff, and we win repeat work from many of our clients due to our excellent reputation for client service and quality.
For our staff, this translates to a wide variety of challenging opportunities and a pleasant and productive working relationship with our clients.
HydroScience offers a comprehensive benefits package including company-matching IRA, 100% employer paid medical/dental/vision insurance coverage for the employee, paid vacation, and sick leave, along with partially-paid medical coverage for qualified dependents.
