Project Scope
The Gold Run Pipeline is an 11,000 foot (3,400 m) pipeline in Placer County, Calif., that delivers raw water from the Sierra Nevada mountains to customers in the Sierra foothills and Central Valley. The pipeline ranges in diameter from 30 inches (750 mm) to 54 inches (1,400 mm) with open channel sections and portions that traverse steep mountain terrain.

HSe identified numerous problems with the pipeline including failing Techite pipe, severe erosion, corrosive soil, and blockage from debris. Near and long-term strategies were developed, and HSe provided environmental documentation and design for replacing the most critical sections of the pipeline.
